About the Southpointe Chamber Business Center

The Southpointe Business Center is now open! Thanks to a generous donation, construction began at the centrally located Bailey Center with a unique concept focusing on businesses and entrepreneurs who want to expand their profile by establishing a brick and mortar office with the addition of business amenities at an affordable price.

Don Hodor, founder added, “We realize the marketing benefits of having a prestige Southpointe address and physical mailbox with full amenities for under $500 a month is a plus. This new approach reduces office space expense, office furniture cost and equipment layout.  Operating your business from home with a cell phone and home address sends customers an unprofessional message.  The solution is to provide business owners a real office, real phone number, brick and mortar mailing address, all in a 4story professional office building.   Smaller private offices are connected to large training classrooms and hi-tech board room.  This allows business leaders to hold meetings, display products and services in an impressive hi-tech environment, all with the privacy of closed doors.”   A real phone number automatically answers with professional voice and message, then transfers the call to desk phone and cell phone, making the businesses first impression a professional one.

Surveys show, people working from home are plagued with background noise, interruptions, limited space and inadequate office equipment.

Offices can be rented monthly and longer with phones, copy machines, computers, break areas, kitchenette, training classrooms and meeting rooms.

The buildout is located in the Bailey Center in the center of Southpointe directly across from the lake. Construction has started and office setups are being reserved now for a fall move in.  The plan is to sell out all spaces by end of year.

Amenities

BRICK AND MORTAR OFFICE This is not a temp office but permanent address with mailbox (not PO box), reception area and board rooms.  Clients will be received thru double glass doors to the hi-tech conference/media room.  Company name and logo will be displayed on the large TV screens giving a personal touch.

TELEPHONE SERVICE Each tenant will be given a published phone number with 24 hour auto attendant, desk phone and business listing in Southpointe Magazine.  Callers are first directed to ring the desk phone, then transferred to cell phone allowing callers to reach a live person quickly.  Marketing surveys reveal , it is not professional to run your business from a cell phone.  That indicates lack of commitment.  Desk phones can be taken home and plugged into any internet access for reliable service.  Message on hold adds a professional touch.  Outgoing calls show business caller ID, even from cell phone using the business app.

BOARD ROOM ACCESS The board room is high technology equipped with five wall mounted large screen TVs that connect via WIFI to any laptop including guest visitors who want to make a presentation.  A 70” touch LED display is also provided.  Added are BOSE sound surround system, Polycom conference phone with multiple microphones and call recording capabilities.  No need to take notes, just download the MP3 file and send it to meeting attendees via email.  Meeting notes can be saved indefinitely on a computer hard drive.

SECURITY PLUS Common areas are equipped with 24 hour camera surveillance using the newest people recognition technology.  All activity are logged by time and date for look back.  Misplaced your laptop?  Not sure if a package was delivered?  Just look back on video and confirm what took place.  Parking lots and exterior walkways are recorded 24 hours for safety and accident documentation.  Vehicles are video recorded and logged by color, make and model.

PRINTERS, COPY MACHINES AND SCANNERS All office occupants have access to a highspeed professional printer/copier with paper up to 11×17 ledger size.  An auto scanner copies documents and sends them immediately to an email address.  Access to laminators, binders and folders add a professional touch to presentations.

UTILITIES Heat, air conditioning, water, sewage, high speed internet, WIFI, TV, and printer ink & paper, are all included.

MEDIA ACCESS The Southpointe Chamber publishes a 58 page color magazine, This directory and quarterly report reaches 10,000 readers with online and print distribution in local homes, hotels and office lobbies,    All occupants of the Southpointe Business Center will be listed with a business card ad in the magazine which is included at no additional fee. Larger ads are discounted.  SBC also includes radio advertising of events, weekly email newsletters and monthly network luncheons.  All these marketing tools are designed to put business products and services up front.  Each package includes a tradeshow exhibit opportunity at the Southpointe Chamber Annual Tradeshow/Expo at Printscape Arena.  The next expo is scheduled for September 22 at Printscape Arena’s 17,000 sq. ft open area.

The future:  In the future we will announce, video production, team building meetings, training sessions, classes on business software and ‘how to’ for social media posting.
